I used Jake for my home inspection. It was an older house that had been rehabbed by the seller. Jake did a thorough inspection and clearly listed what was deficient. He also reinspected once the seller repairs were done, and even suggested a couple of items that the seller failed to properly address. These were then fixed by closing. Highly recommend.

I hired Safeguard Home Inspection, because my Realtor recommended Greg Schultz, and I could not have been more pleased with my choice! Greg responded to my email very quickly and set up a time for the inspection. When I arrived at the site, Greg was already there and hard at work. He paused to give an update of some issues he'd already found and explained what remedies might be available and gave me a "ball park figure" of the cost of remedy. He then went back to work on the inspection. One issue Greg discovered was an area that he could not access, therefore he could inspect it. Greg let me know if we could get him access, he would return to inspect that portion separately. We were granted access and Greg returned to finish the inspection! Greg is totally a professional that goes "ABOVE AND BEYOND!" I highly recommend Safeguard Home Inspection and Greg Schultz!

Greg did a great job of identifying issues in the home we just closed on, including one that would have cost us thousands of dollars had we not been able to negotiate based on Greg’s discovery. He was professional and explained things in a way even us amateurs could understand. We are using his report to methodically fix the remainder of the less serious issues, those that are relatively niggling, but not serious enough to warrant walking away from the purchase.

Highly recommend!! I had a home inspection done to my rental property back in November of 2018 by Safeguard Home Inspection. Greg S was efficient, friendly, helpful and completed my Inspection with ease. The pricing is incredibly reasonable. Somehow I had misplaced my inspection and panicked the other day upon realizing this. I emailed Greg and within minutes he responded with a copy of my Inspection, from years prior. Safeguard is a very well run and helpful company.

Called Greg to inspect a property we had an accepted offer on. He was able to meet us there within 72 hours and spent two and a half hours going through every little detail of the home. From structural, electrical, HVAC, and everything else related to our questions about the home. He then provided a 60 plus page report complete with photos within 24 hours. Not only that, but Greg was really friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to buy a home!!

Greg is the right person for your home inspection! He was on time (actually early even though the roads were slick from the snow). He is informative and thorough. Since I was able to attend the inspection, Greg gave me a summary of his findings along the way and answered my questions. He even spent time to dig deeper into some of our concerns. Greg takes several pictures to support his report, which by the way was completed that night. His report is detailed and easy to read. I was in the market for buying my first place up north. I found Greg Schultz from Safeguard Home Inspection. I gave him a call, left a message, and he called me back later that night. We set up an appointment to meet him at the house so we could go through the house together. Greg was on time and ready to get down to looking into the house. As a first time home buyer I wanted to know everything about the place I was about to buy. I went everywhere he went to see the same things he was looking at. Greg did a very thorough job, inside and out. He took his time to show me things that I needed to know about. After we looked over the whole house we went over his report. He told me what he thought of the House. He told me what needed to be fixed, and what could hold off for a while. I was very happy that I picked Greg to look over the house I was going to be buying. With everything he found I was able to give the seller a much lower offer. It was great to have everything in pics and writing. After two days the seller took my offer, and we where able to buy the house. I had my closing on 8/17/2018. That weekend we made the most of it. We had Greg’s check list and started going over it. We cut down trees, treated the roof, replaced the sink sprayer, replaced the shower head, and fixed the driveway for rain run off. Place is coming along very nicely. We are so happy with the new home. Thank you so much Greg.

Used Greg back in November of 2017 for home that we were purchasing. He was able to get out quickly and did an awesome job. He had recommended that we be there which was nice so he could show you exactly what was wrong upon finding and problems. Local resident doing work helped as he knows the location we had inspected. We were able to schedule Greg quickly 2 days later & he would have been able to inspect the following day but the seller wasn’t available. In our case he discovered that the property wasn’t “move in ready” and we chose not to purchase the property. Cost of inspection worth the headaches and high cost to repair the 1940’s Home. My inspection was a very good experience and Greg was great as he explained everything even the questions that I did not think to ask he just knew how to explain and to give you ever piece of information to make your experience great and to make you feel comfortable with his explanations and to be able to know everything about your home he could tell you. The detailed report Greg provided was excellent. He included pictures of all problems & areas of concern; he even included pictures of the gas cutoffs in the house & LP tank, as well as suggestions for corrections & future maintenance. He was very personable & made the whole experience pleasant. I highly recommend Greg; you won't go wrong.

Greg did an excellent job inspecting our property prior to purchase. He was very thorough and took the time to explain everything clearly and answered all our questions. Greg even found a severe gas leak coming from the stove and would not leave until the gas was shut off to the appliance. Seller ended up installing a new stove to fix the issue due to Greg's findings saving us hundreds not to mention our family's safety. I was very impressed with Greg! He was at the property working on the outside when I arrived. After meeting one another he filled me in on things he had already found! After the outside was done we headed into the garage and he continued right along to the house. The inspection took a good 3 hours, Greg filled me in on things the whole time! He's very polite and willing to answer anything you question! ** I highly recommend going with Greg!

Greg went above and beyond what I have ever expected from the home inspection process. He was very personable and carried on conversation with me the entire time that we walked through the house. He explained things in great detail and explained them to me so that I was understanding. He also gave a lot of advice on how to be very efficient homeowners, and how to get the most out of things such as appliances, furnace, etc. His report was finished and sent over to us the same day and went into detail on everything that he had discovered and what he recommended be done. Greg did the inspection on our upcoming home and we could have not been more pleased. He was not only professional but explain things in a very simplistic yet accurate manner. He not only followed up on a consistent basis but worked with our schedule (which is crazy mind you) to get everything set up and completed.
